Description

This classic Victorian floor grate will infuse period style into any new construction or restoration. Inspired by Gothic tracery found in stained glass windows, this intricate design turns an ordinary vent into a stylish accent. Our modern recreation is cast from solid iron and finished with a durable matte-black powder coat. These vent covers can be used as return air grilles or non-adjustable heat registers.

Better than what you will find at the depot

Comments:

Remodeled the kitchen and was looking for vent covers for the floor (oak) and wall. I wanted something more substantial/interesting than the stamped steel you buy at the depot. These do not come pre-drilled and they do have little extensions that fit within the vent opening to limit movement. This was adequate for the floor. For the wall, I had to drill 2 holes which made me a little nervous (drilling through cast iron) but this was not an issue and was easy to do. Will be purchasing more for other vents.

Old World Elegance

Comments:

These were used in a Georgian Colonial with hardwood floors. They look fantastic and I have been asked several times where did I get these. They look so much more substantial than the stamped steel floor diffusers that were originally there.
