Description

Taking the form of a sparrow in flight, this charming picture rail hook was reproduced from a late Victorian original. In this unique design, the bird rotates to the right, allowing you to hang cord on the hook concealed below. Made of cast bass with our exclusive antique-by-hand finish, it is quite sturdy and well suited to larger or heavier items. As the surface is not lacquered, the patina will darken gracefully with age.

Dimensions: 3 1/4" H x 1 7/8" W x 1 1/4" depth
Rail hook: 3/4" D approx.

Hardware Tip

Most vintage home hardware falls into one major era of the last few centuries: Colonial, Federal, Victorian, Arts & Crafts, and Modern.

A beautiful piece

Comments:

This hook is perfect. The craftsmanship is great, the hand finish is beautiful, and the weight makes it feel substantial for safe hanging.

Absolutely love these!

Comments:

We have a 1900's house and use picture rail. We have ordered hooks before but these ones are super cool

Cool birds

Comments:

Very unique! Adds a modern and fun accent to our picture rail. The loop design makes it easier to hang than the hook. Well done.

Great product, artfully designed and antiqued

I love these hooks. They are well made and hold securely to the picture rail and they are beautiful.

Lovely and elegant! Sturdy, too!

Comments:

I have bought a couple of these for the bedrooms of our 1914 American Foursquare. I was pleasantly surprised with them! A nice touch for the Victorian or Edwardian bedroom!

Nice detail
