Classical Style Solid Brass Floor Register With Adjustable Louver

The website indicates that this is available in matte black finish, which was what we chose. However, the product that arrived indicated that the manufacturer calls this colour ""antique black"", not matte black. It is actually not matte at all - it is a very highly reflective black. We researched the manufacturer and found that the manufacturer only makes it in this shiny antique black, and a matte black finish does not exist for this product. So this is an error in the product description on the Antique Hardware website - so if ordering black, just keep in mind you will not be getting a matte black product. This was a real disappointment for us, since the shiny black does not match our other hardware. Otherwise, it is a very nice product.

These registers are in our dining room/kitchen remodeled space. They will be stepped on and are visible at all times. The quality is excellent and will stand up to the use they will receive and they are beautiful to look at, going wonderfully with our new hardwood floors. The quality supports the price.

I wanted a register cover that complemented my antique furniture and this was the perfect choice!
