The escutcheon's sharp edge cut and lifted the finish on my cabinet door about a third of the way around the escutcheon.

After my mother passed away, I inherited some of her antiques. One of those pieces was an antique oak dental cabinet. The piece had white porcelain knobs which were not original to the piece. I researched and found the style that was originally used on the piece, but could not find them in local stores. I looked on the internet and found House of Antique Hardware which had exactly what I needed. I called and ordered the 14 knobs (four sizes ranging from 5/8"" to 1 1/4"") [...] They were very easy to install and each package included 2 screws (one regular and one straight), so I was able to install on those small drawers and the pull out writing board that had no spaces to fasten a regular screw from the back. The antiquing of the brass knobs has a very authentic aged patina and everyone thinks the piece is ALL original. I will definitely shop there again when I need hardware foir my antiques.

I purchased an antique fold-out secretary desk that had a modern replacement knob. I wanted to restore the piece back to its original state. This knob was perfect and matched the other brass hardware on the piece.

Two very tiny knobs were lost on my 1920's server. Years of searching for period replacements yielded nothing suitable. I had about given up hope when I found these knobs at House of Antique Hardware. They were absolutely perfect in every way! The right fit, the right look for the piece, and excellent quality.
