Cast Brass "No Soliciting" Sign

Bought this several years ago for my 1948 house because of constant almost daily solicitors. Worked great initially and solicitors would turn right around before knocking. However, now it doesn't work with I'd say at least 80% of solicitors. People don't care/know the soliciting laws or even know what soliciting means for that matter. My security camera shows them all looking right at the sign, but knocking/ringing bell anyway. Not the fault of the sign by any means, but now I need a matching sign that defines what No Soliciting means :D

I wanted something that would get my message across to solicitors but not be unsightly. This fit the bill. The brass design also goes well with many of the details in our 1920s home. Looks period/authentic. It's nice, thick brass and actually has much better contrast between the raised areas/lettering and background than the product image would suggest. Nice touch that it comes with both slotted and phillips screws - your choice.

Can't stand door to door solicitors. That may have been a good way to get the word out about your business in the 1950's, but there's internet now. If I need your business I'll find you, not the other way around. Anyway, I've had this sign up for about two weeks and I actually got to see it work the other day. Guy walked up about to knock, saw the sign, and turned on his heel.

This is a great, smaller sign to stop the soliciting at my door! As the weather is getting warmer, more and more companies are sending their reps to my neighborhood to knock on doors. My wife isn't convinced it will stop, but we haven't had any soliciting so far... Really like the size, color, and quality of this sign. Great price too!

We put them up to keep unwanted visitors out, they are unobtrusive to the design of the home. They were perfect.

Beautiful product and simple to install. I'm in love with all things antique brass and this fits right along with my collection. Such a beautiful way to say, ""no thanks and go away"" haha!

I love my new sign. It's so pretty and good quality. The only con were the screws that came with broke when trying to screw into the wall. Luckily I had extras laying around. All in all, I would recommend. We always get compliments!

Keeps away unnecessary salespeople

Make sure that you use a level when installing this sign to make it nice and straight.
