Bee Design Pocket-Door Pull without Keyhole in Antique-by-Hand

Great footage accent for my black pocket doors

I love these pulls but the recess dimensions given were not accurate. I got two of these for a standard door that I made into a pocket door that has the standard round hole for installing a regular door handle. The recess on the back is not completely round... it has two protuberances at the top and bottom of the recess for the screws that secure the interior piece to the exterior piece. I had to notch my door's round openings and messed up the finish on my door a little because I didn't have a specialty tool that the job requires. HOA should really provide an accurate depiction of what the back of these pulls look like.

I was looking for an escutcheon or something to fill the hole in my solid wood closet door when I removed the door knob. Since I turned the door into a sliding door, the pocket door pull was perfect, although it did not fit into the hole because of screws on the rim of the insert. My husband, who is a bee keeper, was challenged with the installation but loved the design!

The detail and finish on this pull is great! A thicker screw for mounting would be an appropriate change; I would recommend a dab of glue on the back of the pull to make sure it stays put for the long haul.

These bee pulls are beautiful. The artwork on them is detailed and lovely - looks authentically antique. The material has weight, not flimsy. Everyone notices them and comments on how cool they are.

I did not install so I can't comment on that. Delivery prompt. No issues or concerns.
