This quality reproduction is cast in solid brass with 1/8-inch thick leaves, loose pins & slotted and Phillips screws.

Question: How are butt hinges measured? Answer: The height is just of the leaf not including the finials and the width is the total open width of both leaves and the knuckle.

I have these hinges for almost every door in my house! They are gorgeous and add a bit of charm and character to my home. They are a little tricky to install at first, but after the first door, you get the hang of it. They are heavy-duty, and extremely well-crafted. The only con I have is that the screws they come with are extremely easy to strip, so be very very careful.
