Solid Brass Stem-and-Plate Caster with 1" Brass Wheel

I'm restoring my great grandmothers 120+ year old black walnut boarding house/ bachelor dresser these casters are great (contrast with the wood is great) easy to install - the dresser is beautiful - thank you for the quality products purchased from House of Antique Hardware

The casters not only look great, but the ottoman rolls easily and noiselessly. I had looked online at other suppliers, but they could not provide product until January. Local upholsterers were unable to locate caster for me.

Perfect for that special chair or small table

A set of 4 are exactly as shown and described online. They fit our ottoman's legs perfectly, look great, and make it easy to move this piece of function as needed. No installation instructions are included, but anyone with a drill and 2 different size bits (one for the main stem and one for the 3 small screws) can do this easily.

Bought 8 and installed on a dining room table and desk that needed additional height. Really excellent product.

proper style and proportion for use with antique furniture

Replaced original wheels that had snapped off of a Victorian chair. Loved the wheels as they matched the matching chair nicely. Felt the screws that were included were very short.

It took a long time to find casters that could replace the originals on this desk chair and look authentic.

I had a very expensive Whittemore-Sherrill Leather Chair and Ottoman that I bought about 10 years ago. The Brass Roller on the Ottoman broke. I found the part on line and it was an exact match and equal quality. Acutally, the screws on the original Brass Roller did not sit flush. The screws on the the new roller seated perfectly.

2nd set of casters we purchased. 1st were great too. Heavy, quality brass casters. Used for front legs of a 19th c. rosewood chair. 1st set for front legs of a early turn of century mahogany chair. Very nice casters.
