We bought the knobs to finish a project, and they were a very close match. However, it was fortunate that my husband checked the length before drilling, based on the advertised size. They are 3 5/8"" not 3 1/2 "".
Close match to missing handles on a dresser
Comments:
Bought a used dresser that was missing a couple handles. These were a very close match. The existing ones were hollow and possibly only brass plated, but they're a close enough match to these that it worked. Close enough that when I quizzed a couple family members, they didn't guess correctly which ones were original and which ones were replacements! Not cheap, but 3 replacements were cheaper than 8 new, matching, pulls. I did buy different screws, because I didn't like the style of screw that came with the handles, so I bought smooth head ones so that nothing would catch on clothes.
Close match to original pull that was lost
Comments:
I have a Plantation style drum coffee table with two drawers with swan necked pulls. The top drawer pull would come out sometimes and one day it came out and got lost. I searched on the internet and found the House of Antiques and looked at their product. It looked like a very close match and it was solid brass, except the rosette was smaller than the original. The original is 1 3/16"" in diameter. Hoping for the best I ordered one. It turned out I couldn't use the original rosette and had to install the smaller ones that came with the pull. However, after testing the pull many times pulling the drawer in and out, it proved that it was more robust than the original and wouldn't flex and slip out out. I ordered the second one today to match the replacement. The only other thing I had to do was touch up the finish to make scare from the larger rosette disappear. It would be nice if there were different rosette diameter sizes so one could match the originals as closely as possible.
delighted I found you!

Out of 10 original drawer handles, only one was missing after 70 years. By luck I found your website and the one you sent fit perfectly with the others- finish, size, weight. Actually, yours was sold brass and I think the others are hollow-- they are bit lighter. Anyway, I have now finished painting the dresser for my daughter's room, and now she has her great grandfather's dresser as her own. Thanks , your item completed a useful and sentimental project! Shipment was as promised, all parts necessary to install, just love it!
I would NEVER buy this again! Very cheaply made

I ordered this to replace a broken handle on a dresser. This was so visible thin and cheap! The finish was poor in my opinion as well. I will not be ordering more.
Long search ended

We had moved several times and one of the nightstand pulls had gone missing. We had been frequenting flea markets and antique shops for over three years trying to find a match. I decided to give the internet a try and was rewarded with finding exactly what I needed. House of Antique Hardware kept me posted on the crafting of the product and provided tracking information regarding the shipment. Thank you.
no complaints here!
