Smooth Forged Iron Strap Door Hinge With Spear Design

Bought many of these to use on period-correct doors I made. They work great, no complaints.

These hinges were used on the ""hayloft"" doors above Cape Cod style woodshop. Now two years old, they look and work great. Very classy!

We are adding on to what was initially a weekend studio conversion from an old workshop to make it our permanent home out in a small town in central Texas. We created a built in closet in a new guest bedroom, and wanted to maintain the vintage feel of the original place......the strap hinges really set off the closet door and gave the room an outstanding feel.

This purchase was a replacement for hinges on an 80 year old wormy chestnut outside door and they match the old ones exactly. I am very pleased with them and thankful that appropriate replacements are available.

I needed a gate that would hold up under Seattle's rainy conditions and damp conditions. Rot, warp, sagging can result. Having solid hinges that don't rust is essential to a fates longevity. Getting this at an economical price was a pleasant surprise.

These are perfect for an 8' section of fence gate, and have held our rickety fence through not one but two, near tornado winds!no signs of rust in our harsh PA winters, we couldnt ask for more.

I do lots of my own construction work....these are for a shed door for a large shed/barn I am building in the mountains.....they will last and perform well for many years
