Latchset looks appropriate for the 1830s farmhouse it's installed in. Mechanism works smoothly. Parts were included to handle various installation options.

I needed a replacement for an antique door latch that had broken down with age, this replica looks very similar and worked with the existing holes and notch locations. Feels as solid as the original, and looks great.

Latch works perfectly. First one had a factory problem and was replaced quickly at no cost to me (including UPS pickup). Customer service was excellent. Instructions are good but some thinking is in order before making cuts on door frame and hole in door. Ordered three more.

I was delighted to find this latch set for my lake house built circa 1920! I needed a new latch for a bathroom newly built in the loft of this house. I wanted it to resemble the latches already in the house; but I had trouble locating one until I found the House of Antique Hardware which had just what I needed.

I have only great things to say about this product. We had two new teak screen doors installed on either end of our camp front porch. My brother-in-law rebuilt the Dutch door as the wood had dried out after 100 years, as well as dogs scratching on it. The latch was missing some of the parts. I had gone into a web site looking for another one, when your web page came up. I was amazed at how close it was to the one that was put in when the door was built. In fact, so close we were able to use part of the old one. I am thrilled with it.

Substantially made and includes all the screws needed, plus extra pieces for optional installations. Looks and works just like the ones in our 250 year old house.

My oldest daughter was looking to personalize her bedroom door a bit... so, we made it ourselves using this hardware as a complement to the antique barn door aesthetic she was going for. It worked out beautifully. She loves the look, feel, and action of this hardware and so do I.
