Perfect replacement for a Victorian home

Comments:

These are perfect! Our 1903 home has a couple of these remaining, but the rest are missing. And everywhere they are missing, there's wall damage from the door knob hitting the plaster. I bought four to try them out on the second floor, and I'm back to order nine more for all of the remaining doors. Super easy install and an authentic-looking replacement.

Very different, would buy again

The wood stopper looks great in the room

Historically Accurate Wood Doorstop

Comments:

Wood Doorstop was the perfect accent needed for my 1920's home. Installation was simple, just make sure that you drill into the baseboard with the appropriate size drill bit. Too small a hole will cause the interior screw to become loose inside the wood, and then you will have an issue. A fixable one, but more trouble. The black tips are ok, could be better if a different material was used. I do not foresee any future problems. They look AMAZING!

They were OK in a pinch

Comments:

This worked well considering the pieces that were threaded weren't machine correctly and I had to return them for replacement. Also some of them were necked up a little bit. And some of the black plastic cover used to on the end of the door stops came apart because the center holes were not drilled deep enough.

perfect item for my needs

nice product

We love this door stop!

Comments:

We bought a house built in 1900. Trying to bring it back to how it was before. Found one doorstop that looked just like this. We needed a couple more and bought these. They match great and were easy to install. If only all the projects were this smooth

Close enough!

Comments:

Ordered two to match several others in my Sears bungalow. I knew from the pictures and dimensions they wouldn't be exactly the same but since you don't see them next to each other they are a good enough solution. The only thing to be wary of is potential color variation. One was dark like the picture and one is a more light/medium walnut. If you need a perfect match I recommend buying more than you need or getting the unfinished ones and staining yourself.

Perfect for old homes

I probably will not buy them again unless I move or damage o

Comments:

My home is a block and oak beams ,floors and subfloors all the moldings are wide , I was missing a few of the door stops and wanted to replace them , they fit

My search is over!

Comments:

The door stops add an historical reminder of another era.
