Description

Hardwood door stops were popular in the Victorian era. Turned from solid mango wood this shapely reproduction has been stained dark and left un-lacquered for a natural finish. Easily installed on baseboard with the included lag screw. Includes black and white tips to suit your preference.

Length: 3 7/16". Diameter: 1 3/8".

Hardware Tip

The projection does not include the screw and would be the total length when installed.

Attractive little detail

Comments:

An attractive authentic touch that works well and isn't an eyesore

Autentice look

Comments:

Saw the same look at Calif. State Capital.

Bought before and would again!

Comments:

We bought this product before, and of course we came back for more! Looks great - like the original door stops in antique homes. Thank you for having these available and in stock!

Close enough!

Comments:

Ordered two to match several others in my Sears bungalow. I knew from the pictures and dimensions they wouldn't be exactly the same but since you don't see them next to each other they are a good enough solution. The only thing to be wary of is potential color variation. One was dark like the picture and one is a more light/medium walnut. If you need a perfect match I recommend buying more than you need or getting the unfinished ones and staining yourself.

Doorstops are amazing!!!

Comments:

Restoring 100 plus year old home! This website offered great quality replicas.

Excellent reproduction of the originals we matched.

Comments:

We restored an early 1900 hunting lodge and tried to match the original finish details

Good match for house

Comments:

Compatible with house, replacement for metal ones badly corroded.

Historically Accurate Wood Doorstop

Comments:

Wood Doorstop was the perfect accent needed for my 1920's home. Installation was simple, just make sure that you drill into the baseboard with the appropriate size drill bit. Too small a hole will cause the interior screw to become loose inside the wood, and then you will have an issue. A fixable one, but more trouble. The black tips are ok, could be better if a different material was used. I do not foresee any future problems. They look AMAZING!

I probably will not buy them again unless I move or damage o

Comments:

My home is a block and oak beams ,floors and subfloors all the moldings are wide , I was missing a few of the door stops and wanted to replace them , they fit

It was good for the money.

Comments:

Have an older home that requires these for the correct look.
