Pair of 3/4-Inch Offset Galvanized Iron Shutter Strap Hinges With Lag Pintles
Description
These traditional Colonial style 3/4-inch offset hinges with lag pintles are still popular today! The straps are forged out of steel and the pintles are made of solid cast iron, both galvanized. These versatile hinges can be mounted to show either when the shutters are open or closed. The rough textured black powder coating provides a great period look and helps reduce rust.

Hardware Tip
Galvanized iron and steel is plated with zinc before the powder-coating is applied. This dramatically increases the rust resistance over items that are only painted or powder-coated.

My kingdom for Phillip screws
Comments:
The assembly and installation went well but did require purchase of stainless steel Philip head screws to attach hinges to the shutters.
Solid Quality - Excellent Service
Comments:
These lag pintels and hinges are solid... much better quality than other hinges I ordered samples of from a big box store. When writing and calling customer service on separate occasions they were responsive and extremely helpful in answering my questions. I wish I had started here at House of Antiques... excellent quality at a fair price, paired with great service!
