I used these hinges on my built-in in the kitchen of my 1930's home. The old ones were brass and painted over. The new hinge is heavy and solid, seems well build and the chrome is very nice and shiny. Looks great, feels like a well build product. Price seems high, glad I only needed 6.

These are great looking solid brass hinges with a very good quality build and finish. they are NOT what I would call fancy, which makes them much more likely to be usefull in a variety of projects from a cabinet, to a hope chest. They are NOT cheap to buy either, but you get what you pay for in these excellent hinges.
