These hinges are a lovely and elegant replacement for some very ugly, clunky and ill-fitting 1980 replacements on a turn of the century cabinet. They are beautiful.

These hinges were referenced in a Fine Woodworking project -- a wall hanging hand tool cabinet. Because of the weight of the doors and tools, I needed something that was solid. These worked great. I opted for the oiled finish.

I found the #6 brass screws to be too weak, I broke a couple and replaced them with #8. Otherwise the hinges were very solid with thick leaves with no looseness in the pins.

Hardware is the most important component to any cabinet DON'T SCRIMP!! Only buy good hardware,it will last for generations the same as your work and craftsmanship
