Beautiful Victorian Door Set

Comments:

I wanted a new, high Victorian style door set for my new front door. I looked on line and around Dallas hardware stores but couldn't find what I wanted, so back to the Internet. I finally decided on this set because of the look. It is very heavy brass, I was shocked when I picked it up for the first time! Even though we took a print out of the description and instructions to the door company, they didn't do the hardwear cuttings right. The second door just arrived and something about the mortise cut out was not correct. Thank goodness I had a very experienced installer doing the door! It took him 5 hours from start to finish, but it was worth it! My front door is stunning to see and I have received many compliments from the neighborhood and my HOA.

High quality replacement for original mortise entry set

Comments:

I bought this to replace the mortise set on our front door. The door and mortise were the original from 1929. The product is high quality and very well made. I measured myself and ordered. The mortise did not quite fit what we had, so I called a locksmith to handle the installation. He was highly impressed with the product and was easily able to make the adjustments and install it into our door. It works great and we love it!

My Regency Mortise Lock Entryset Review

Comments:

This beautiful entry set was very difficult to install eventhough all the website specifications were clear and correct. Perhaps you could design a better way to line up the tight-fitting brass door jam fixture, so the door frame isn't weakened by missed drill holes. I really could use a 90 degree brass fixture to hide all the mistakes that my locksmith made when trying to install the lock set.
