Pair of Octagonal Crystal Door Knobs With Solid Brass Base

These knobs are absolutely gorgeous. I wanted an updated look for our older home, and these are a perfect addition.

Retrofitted with a full brass mortise kit to add a lock to my half bath.

We're gradually replacing our 1915 home's cheap glass doorknobs and plates with high-quality reproduction sets from House of Antique Hardware. Prices aren't cheap but you get what you pay for. The Waldorf knobs are stunning, substantial, and comfortable to use. Just make sure whoever installs them knows what they're doing.

These are very nice replacement knobs for a 100 year old house. The included shaft was too large for my door lock but I was able to use the existing one.

I use this in renovations of Mediterranean, Spanish Colonial or Tudor homes from the 1920s and 1930's and pair them with antique escutcheons from France, Italy and Portugal.

I purchased this product as part of the restoration of some of the brass door hardware in my 1920's era century home. For some reason, a couple of the original door hardware in some of the rooms was mismatched metal door knobs and not the glass door knobs in most of the doors. Very impressed with the brass and glass construction of the item as well as the correct size that matched that of the hardware in my home. My home has octagonal glass door knobs and these folks had the exact same design and size in stock. Very impressed.

I would have given 5 stars, but the rod was a little too long for my door. The knob itself is very sturdy, beautiful and matches relatively close to my originals on other doors. Just got this to match the rest of my house. Now I just need to remove all the paint the previous owners put on the flashings!
