Large Grip-Neck Caster with 2" Rubber Wheel

The product arrived on time and as described. The finish and fit works well with a 50 year old trunk that we were restoring. The price was good for the quality. This item or similar casters were not available in the local market. Was glad that House of Antique Hardware had all of the products that we were looking for.

The color and style of these casters look perfect on my older maple desk chair. I previously purchased some cheap, bright brass ""colored"" round casters that held up as great as they looked. They lasted about a month before one of them broke and they looked AWFULL. These new casters are strong, attractive, and they work well.

We had an old table that was beautiful but since it was missing the original wheels it was too low to use. These wheels were a perfect fit, we were able to use the existing holes so installation was simple.

I was replacing older casters on a secretary. The original double-wheel casters are no longer available. I spent hours on the internet looking for suitable casters. This caster was the most appropriate I could find, but I did worry that no load testing had been done on it. My furniture repairman also expressed this concern. He knew a source that sold a very similar caster, but with a specified load and somewhat sturdier. Because of repeated cancellations by another furniture repairman, I was beyond the days allowed for returning the casters, so I decided to use them, but I would feel more confident with the sturdier ones available locally. These casters would be suitable for a smaller piece of furniture, and I could highly recommend them for that.
