Steel Grip-Neck Caster with 1 1/4" Dark Hardwood Wheel

My wife's grandfather was a minister that wrote all of his Sunday sermons in an antique desk chair (early 1900s) that we inherited. The original wooden wheels had outlived their intended service life and we purchased a new set from your team. We now have Gramps' chair back in business! Easy to roll and grandson approved.

Furniture back to original style. Hardest part was taking out retainer's. Used a pick, Pulled out retainer, installed new retainer. Tapped it down, Pushed in wheel. Very easy.

The caster was slightly longer than the 100 year one that was replaced. I will be replacing the other 4 on the kitchen cabinet. I should have replaced all caster in the beginning. To match a caster made over 100 years ago in Germany can all but be impossible. I'm waiting to receive the other 4 and I will be set.
