Split spindles for doorknobs. Steel. Zinc plated. Have 3 threaded holes tapped 10-24, and can be used with threaded doorknobs or with old doorknobs with square holes. Used with locks when a doorknob is needed on one side only.

Nice quality but too short

Comments:

I was not sure this was the right type of split spindle for my 1581 Reading Hardware Entry Door mortise set. It wasn't. But, it is beautifully made. Looks like I will have to have the original re-tapped as someone before me used the wrong size set screw.
