Description

This sturdy spindle is designed to facilitate new or vintage doorknobs with threaded shanks of 16 TPI. Constructed of hardened steel, it provides smooth operation and long-lasting wear. With a 3 1/2" length, it's ideal for standard doors, and features a 7mm thickness.

Dimensions: 3 1/2" L x 7mm thick. 16 TPI.

Hardware Tip

If you need a threaded spindle you need to know what the threads per inch are and check to see that the spindle thickness is small enough to fit through the hub of your lock or latch.

Perfect spindles

Needed spindles for narrow door. Searched in hardware stores and all over the internet and found that as usual, House of Antique Hardware had exactly what was needed. Great supplier of hard to find hardware!
