Bad screws

Comments:

Pulls are nice. Screws that come with the pulls suck. Brass screws that come with these pulls look nice but are not strong enough for hardwood cabinets. Even with pre-drilled pilot holes, 1 out of 3 screws broke while being hand screwed in carefully. So unless you are using these on soft wood like pine, stay away. Fortunately, house of antiques is taking them back and refunding so I can order pulls manufactured by another company (item # R-08BM-1429-PB) that I have successfully installed before that are half the price as these pulls. Hoping the slightly larger size will hide the pilot holes I already drilled on draw fronts of my hardwood custom cabinets.
