Swan Solid-Brass Coat Hook

Right by the front door for coats or whatever lands on it. It's very sturdy but the design is graceful. I also love it because it reminds me of my grandmother's old sewing scissors.

I'm an avid brass enthusiast. I'm a brass nerd probably. I have the brass giraffes, cockatiels, antelope, horse coat rack (yep!), and several brass duck wall hooks. I was very pleasantly surprised with these hooks! I usually only like vintage stuff because I don't like the look or quality of modern ""brass"" stuff. These hooks are beautiful and solid brass. Solid brass, not some ugly gold paint over another metal. Not like the big bullseye store that sells ""brass"" and it's not solid and it's junk. I am so happy with my quality swan/crane hooks and so pleased that I didn't have to hunt them down and pay a ginormous price for them like you do with antique auction sites. I can get more if I need them. I'm happy.

We've just renovated an older home, and I wanted to infuse artistic, historically based elements. These hooks serve as our towel hooks in our bathroom, and they offset some of the contemporary elements with their elegant charm. I'm very pleased.

This is a pretty design and I haven't seen anything like it before. I wish it was a little bit more aged (in color), not as yellow/shiny. But overtime, I suspect that it will look like that.

This item arrived and was better than expected! It looks antique and is really a great statement piece.
