Inspiration Pineapple Tip Stair Rod - 3/8" Diameter Alloy With Standard Brackets

These are great rods for the money. They look great on my staircase. My house is from 1907 and keeping it's look to the era is important. I recommend this product. Not to mention, I highly recommend the antique finish.

I ordered these stair rods hoping that they would be as shown. The quality is excellent and I am so happy that I made the decision to order. We have waited many years to be able to add these to our stairway after raising 4 sons. The rods are just the right size and the pineapples are beautifully made. Everything went together very easily and they make the carpet pop out with color.

Ordered these items for our oak staircase with oriental carpet runner. Had to cut each one with a hacksaw to get the right width, which I expected to do...easy enough to do but make sure you put some masking tape on them before doing so to avoid the saw from scratching. They look beautiful and we've gotten a number of compliments on them already. With the discounts offered, it made more sense to order an extra and get free shipping (over $150 threshold) than it did to order what I actually needed and pay for shipping. We got the pineapple finials (pineapple being a sign of 'welcome'), perfect for an entry foyer. Very pleased.

Looks good, but very hard to install. Screws were too short.

Like i mentioned above, the screws that come with are chintzy and I had 2 break on me. It's tough to pull them out once the head is broken off. I definitely recommend pre-drilling, especially into hard oak like I did.

Was really happy with this product and how well made it was. I'm always afraid to buy things online but the only local option was cheap thin pipe that you screwed down threw the piping. I wanting a nicer and more attractive installation and decided to risk the online purchase. Needless to say I am very happy I did and couldn't have enjoyed the outcome more. It was very easy to install and came well packed with printed instructions.

when walking in our front door you open up to our second floor stairs. this is what you see first in our home. we had wall to wall coverings in our rooms and on our steps. i got rid of all carpeting in the rooms and on the steps and brought back the hardwood floors. i wanted to finish it off with a new oak rail and runner carpet on the steps. i used your step rods and with the pineapple ends to finish off the project. now when walking into our house you view our steps which look like they are out of a remodling magazine. thank you so much. bob

The stair rods are beautiful. They were the finishing touch when I had a new carpet runner installed on the stairs. The stair rods helped create the look of the time period of when my old house was built. I especially liked the finial choices.
