Solid-Bronze Door Stop with Matching Holder

The door stop itself feels solid, heavy, and very sturdy. However, I ran into two major issues with the hook mechanism. First, the hook comes permanently attached to the door stop and cannot be removed if you don't want to use it. Second, and more importantly, the end of the hook is not curved enough to stay securely inside the holder. Whenever the wind blows against the door, the hook easily slips right out of the loop, defeating the purpose of the holder. It looks nice, but the design needs improvement to actually hold the door in place.

The hardware is good, it is what it looks like. It is solid, as well as heavy.
