The perfect transom window latch

Comments:

When it comes to transom window hardware, HAH has superb options --all of which were period appropriate for our late 19th century Folk Victorian home. Taking on a transom window project is exciting, considering how few homes (at least in my area) have operable transom windows. HAH has all the hardware you'll need to restore your own. I particularly appreciate the antique-by-hand finishing on this latch, which only improves over time, and the added warmth it brings; who knew that hardware could be a conversation starter? Pros: Spring loaded latch, professional finish that improves over time (other antique-by-hand hardware purchased over the years is still looking great!), period appropriate, conversation-starter! Cons: The latch is sold individually, so be aware that in order to make your transom window unit operational you'll need to buy corresponding hardware, such as a hook (one can be used for all window latches) and hinges.
