Solid-Brass Sash Chain - #25

We bought some of this chain in bronze to use for hanging a stained glass window in front of a window. It's plenty strong, and it looks fantastic. Much better than anything we could find at the local hardware stores

First don't forget to order ""s"" hooks. Then think about how you plan to cut this because it comes in one long rope of chain. I am not sure what I thought but it doesn't look as nice as I thought it would. Without being able to find the s hooks locally and just now getting around to look online, I have not use it yet. My home is formal and really not sure it will fit. I may go back to using nails.

The product was used for sash chane on counter balance weights on 150 sash in one project!

My contractor couldn't find what we needed after going to multiple stores. I found antique hardware online. Very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I got my purchase very quickly and I will definitely use them again for other antique purchase s for my hundred year old house.

Ordered this product to use in conjunction with brass hooks. Unfortunately, the links on this product are too small to use for securely hanging gallery style as recommended by my framer, they only work for higgledy piggledy triangle use - which is NOT my preferred esthetic or method. I've ordered something to work as needed from another place, I'll just eat the cost of these as opposed to returning. Bottom line: if you want a chain use for hanging that will work with the hook going through the link DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM! Consider yourself warned.

I use this chain frequently on existing and old style pulley wheels and it is really smooth. It looks very sharp and is a great way to upgrade your old windows to match other hardware on kitchens or doors!

This item should not be listed in the picture hanging section!! That is not what it's for. I wasted a bunch of money buying this chain as it does not fit the picture hooks I purchased nor will it attach easily to frames. This item needs to be in a different category or a better description.

Perfect for chain replacement or cord upgrade

I was not looking to use this as sash chain. I needed strong, nice looking, durable chain to hang a grow light box and the frame for a tempered glass shelf to hang underneath it. This was the only place I could find what I wanted at any price.
