These are classic window locks, suitable for my 1929 windows.

Replaced 75 Anderson factory double hung sash locks with House of Antique Hardware solid brass sash locks. They fit perfect with minimal effort.

Finally: I got 2 of these sash locks for a vinyl builders special window that my builder put in. I needed a better sash lock because the up down window in the front of my house is enormous it is very large and my builder used the cheapest window he obviously picked up at the local builders store. Each Christmas we put a giant wreath on the window and use a ribbon and bring it back over the top of the window and push the top of the window into place to hold it. I noticed that this winter the sash locks (Plastic), were showing some strain from the weight. SO I bought these and they fit great (after buying 2 others from HOAH. They are very heavy duty, and look great. But I had to use the old screws from the plastic sashes because they were longer than the ones that came with the sash. I love these, might just get them for the whole house.
