Solid-Brass Beaded Oval Door Plate with Keyhole

Although the design of our Beaded Oval Door Plate with Keyhole dates from around 1900, it is a lovely choice for traditional and modern interiors alike. Beautifully forged in solid brass, it is left unlacquered, allowing it to age gracefully over time, just like the antique originals.

Dimensions: 6 15/16" H x 2 1/2" W. Inside collar diameter: 21/32" (fits 5/8" shank). Center to center spacing of keyhole to knob collar: 2 1/4". Fastener/s: #5-40 x 1" wood screws.

Pressed brass, also called stamped or wrought, is thin whereas cast and forged brass items are thick.
