3rd time purchasing
Comments:
I have put up several floating natural wood shelves in my house and always buy my iron brackets here. They are heavy duty and give us the exact look we want. The only bad thing I would say is some brackets were not completely straight and looked crooked on the wall so we had to use shims to make it appear straight. Still love them.

Cast Iron Shelf Brackets
Comments:
We purchased these shelf brackets to use with a repurposed old wooden plank that we wanted to use for a sideboard in our dining room. The plank is quite heavy so we needed something sturdy but with a pleasing design. These were perfect. After waxing the wooden plank to a nice patina the brackets were easy to install and look perfect with the sideboard.

Looks great and well-built

We have an 80 year-old home and we wanted brackets that wouldn't look out of place. We tried to find vintage hardware, but found it difficult to get 24 of them... and so reproduction became the name of the game. The price and build quality was there for sure! Love these and will surely be bookmarking House of Antique Hardware for future projects.

We used these brackets with aged barnwood shelving. Looks really classy.
Perfect Accent to our kitchen island

We are remodeling a 1942 house top to bottom. Put in a huge kitchen island that has 12"" of granite over hang on 3 sides. These hold the granite without you knocking your knees on them! Love them!
Serious quality-control issues
Comments:
We used these, and the larger-sized ones, in the laundry room of a 1912 bungalow, and I would not use this product again. Half of these brackets weren't square - they fmake an acute angle instead of a right angle, so the shelves want to slope down away from the wall. It's a noticeable slope, especially with objects on the shelf. We had to use shims to square up the shelves, which are unfortunately also noticeable. As others have noted, the screwholes are not consistent between brackets, which makes installation more difficult, as each bracket needs to be installed a little differently than the other - you can't drill all your pilot holes or install all the drywall anchors beforehand. But this is a minor concern compared the the out-of-square issue. We may order a few to replace the shimmed out-of-square brackets, and hope for a better batch this time.
Wonderful look in my kitchen!
