Installed four on a post by my hot tub to hang towels on. Works well and are attractive. Pre-drill holes for screws before installing then use a hand held screwdriver to avoid breaking screws as some have had issues with.
Cute hooks, bad screws
Comments:
Love the look of these hooks. The screws provided to hang them however...are cheap, don't match, and the first screw literally broke in 1/2 while I was screwing it in. I had to go to the hardware store and buy different screws to hang the hooks.
Good quality! Very pleased! Came in a timely manner.

Placed on piece of black walnut to create coat rack.
great hook horrible screws
Comments:
love this hook...heavy duty and looks amazing! however, the screws that come with it are horrible. they are flat-head screws and just strip out before you even get them halfway in. I philips screw or torx screw would be much better!
Slotted screws for hook
Comments:
I see some reviews mention the screw breaking or not being a Phillips or Torx (star) head. Drill a correctly sized pilot hole, use the correct size screwdriver for the slot - NOT a power drill, and put a small amount of wax on the tip before screwing them in. That's how you install a screw without breaking it or stripping the slot. This isn't a screw problem, it's a you problem. It's ok to not know how, it's not ok to blame someone else for it. Now you know how. As for them being slotted, these are meant to replicate something vintage. Using a slotted screw is the appropriate design choice. If you find a Phillips head screw in your pre-1930s furniture, it's from a later repair because Phillips weren't invented until the early 1930s.
These hooks are beautiful and go perfectly on the mirror.

I used these hooks under a mirror for the entry way.
