Description

This Eastlake-style slide latch is an elegant addition to both antique and new cupboard doors. Reproduced from a circa 1880's original, its symmetrical and somewhat formal pattern is captured in solid cast brass. Suited for Victorian or Classical interiors, it comes in our exclusive Antique by-Hand - a finish that ages gracefully over time into a beautiful natural patina.

Dimensions. Latch: 1 1/2" H x 2 1/8" W. Catch: 1 1/2" H x 1" W.

Hardware Tip

These latches are spring loaded, so when you pull back the knob, the latch tongue is retracted allowing the door to be opened. When the knob is released it springs back to latch.

Antique Latches

Comments:

The hand rubbed finish looks excellent. Hard to tell they are new on a 140 year old furniture.

Great service, wonderful products

Comments:

They are beautiful and look great in my Victorian kitchen. I asked them ro darken the finish as much as possible. They did,and wow great match. I've used this company many times and have recommended you to my friends and other carpenters. Thank you very much!

I liked this product so much I bought it again!

Comments:

My home dates to 1848 and has its challenges every time I do something. I ordered two if these slide latches to keep some bedroom closet doors closed and they worked like a charm. Easy to install, they look great and and blend in nicely with the character of my home. I liked them so much I ordered two more for other closet doors.

It looks better in person

Comments:

We had redone an old house that was built before the Civil War. We inherited the house. we gutted the entire house and new plaster board was put in. I needed these latches to replace old, broken ones and they were perfect.
