This elegant Victorian rosette is the perfect companion to our pure and simple white porcelain door knobs. The delicate fleur-de-lis design is reproduced in cast brass and complimented by an ornate keyhole cover. A reproduction mortise lock with a solid brass face plate and interior components completes the vintage look.

Hardware Tip
Mortise Lock: Old style box lock that is installed into a deep pocket or “mortise” in the edge of the door. Generally, the mortise lock houses both the latch and dead bolt in one unit.

Wonderful other than the included screws
Comments:
Every rosette plate is only held in by one screw instead of two, they would shear or the head would break very easily even when I pre-drilled and used a good old screwdriver, the breaks left me unable to take the screw out as well as prevents me from re-drilling a new pilot hole
