Premium stainless steel retaining clip set designed for wood screens or storm sashes that need to stay shut tight for the season. Each set includes 2 retaining clips with mounting bolts and wing nuts - enough for one sash. With hangers mounted at the top of each window and retaining clips near the bottom, they make installation and removal a snap.
To install, the bolt is mounted from the outside of the window through a pre-drilled hole in the storm sash. The bolt passes through the retaining clip which is positioned so that the short leg rests against the sash and the long leg is against the inside of the window stop. The wing nut is then tightened so that the window is held tight against the stop. Designed for use with exterior window stops a minimum of 5/8" thick. Made of grade 304 stainless steel for the best corrosion resistance. Heavy duty 3/32" thickness.
Retaining clip measures 1 3/4" x 1/2" x 5/8" projection. Bolt is 2 1/2" x 3/16".

I was just thrilled to find it, as my home is a Dutch Colonial reproduction, and my windows are, by choice reproduction with removable storm windows. I like it that way, but spent last winter with two CLIPS gone. Huge fuel bills.
