Heavy and authentic

Comments:

Needed to find a lockset for a French antique door. Nothing worked, but this lock worked beautifully.

Made in India quality

Comments:

The lock set comes with flat head screws but is not recessed so they sit up. We had to recess all holes to use these screws. I called the company and they told me this was the way it was designed although the technical department girl did not seem to know what a flat head screw was

Rim Locks

Comments:

To date, I haven't had the locks installed, but they have the quality and appearance I was looking for in locks for my historic home. These locks will go well with the six panel doors and lights and trim surrounding these doors.

Smooth operating, good looking lock set.

Comments:

This is a good match for our originals on other doors. Very heavy, smooth functioning set. Solid brass knobs are perfectly proportioned.

I have purchased a couple of these to replace 200 year old rim locks on one of my renovation projects. First and foremost I would avoid purchasing altogether because its poorly made and not authentic at all. They give you flat head brass screws to mount this lock to the door. The problem with that is they are not countersunk so the flat head sticks out. The function of this lock does not work correctly. Our 200 old original rim locks work better than this lock. Finally I did trying calling and left several messages to no response, its simple save your money.
