The fitter is the outside diameter of the round opening at the small end of the shade. This should be a little smaller than the size of the shade holder on your fixture.

Perfect compliment to restored pan chandelier

These shades are perfect for a pan chandelier I restored. They feel vintage but they are beautiful and fit my newer home just as they would an older home.
