The depth-adjustable strike makes it easier to install, while self-retractable wing hooks on the latch prevent scratches to the opposite surface. The lock is activated from the inside by the u-shaped thumb turn. The latch bolt is held in place by the included strike or dummy mortise case (for double doors - purchase separately). An emergency release button on the exterior allows the door to be unlocked with a common screwdriver.

Dimensions: 7 7/8" H x 2 23/64" W x 5/64" thick. Recess: 6 23/64" H x 1 31/32" W. Mortise: 23/64" deep. Lock case: 3 21/32" D x 6" H x 11/16" W. Faceplate: 8" H x 1" W. Backset: 2 3/4". NOTE: Not all visible parts of lock will match the finish of the set. For Oil-Rubbed Bronze and Aged Brass sets, the spring loaded edge pull and push button will be in Satin Nickel finish.
