Worked great. Drilled a hole and used a wire for hanging rather than the braided cord.

Hooks fit the old picture rail well. I was a little concerned about the cord being secure for a heavy frame, but carefully with pliers bent the bottom of the hook and it came out just right.

I wanted to make some changes to our crown molding hooks and this one was the most basic of the lot. It still is a great piece.
