Classic Arts & Crafts in design, this vintage reproduction is the perfect enhancement to any Craftsman-style home or bungalow. Substantial forged-brass parts and a heavy-duty latch provide enduring quality.
Door set dimensions: Homestead doorknobs measure 2 3/4" H x 1 5/8" W. Back plates are 6 3/4" H x 3" W.
Latch dimensions: Latch case: 7/8" diameter. Latch face plate: 2 1/4" H x 1" W.
Standard door range: 1 3/8" to 1 3/4" thick.

The door is unlocked by turning the knob or lever on the inside and can also be unlocked from the outside by pushing a small screwdriver through the emergency release hole. Awesome look and function...but
Comments:
Everything was great except for the finish on the door knob is quite delicate. It scratches very easily. My wedding ring scratched the surface just reaching for the knob, enough so that you can see the metal under the finish. The back plate is fine...a durable finish, but the knob. The look and feel is fantastic. Installation was a breeze as long is you are OK using a chisel to square up the pockets for the hardware, that is if you have existing doors with rounded corners already. Highly recommend this product, although time will tell on how the door knob holds up, finish wise.
