Description

Our Solid Brass 2 1/2-Inch Non Mortise Ball-Tip Cabinet Hinges are the simplest means of installing inset cabinet doors. Surface mounted to the inside edge of the face frame and cabinet panel, they are easily mounted and adjusted. This pair of hinges is made of solid-brass and comes in an array of popular finish options.

Dimensions: 2 1/2" H x 1 3/4" W not including tips. Overall with tips is 3". Knuckle: 1/4" Dia. Leaf: 7/8" W and 5/8". Leaf thickness: 1/16". Fasteners: #5 x 5/8" wood screws.

Hardware Tip

Non-mortise hinge: A hinge which has thin leaves allowing them to be mounted on the edge of a cabinet door without having to be mortised.

Beautiful hinges for inset doors

We have been cutting down ""modern"" cabinet overlay doors to inset size to be more in keeping with the age of the house...these hinges really finish the look, and the cabinets look like they have been there for generations now. Great product!

Hinges worked great for my project, easy to adjust

I am not a pro but I like my projects to look like I am. These hinges were great for me because of the oval holes for the screws. They can easily be adjusted so they fit perfectly. I replaced surface mounted hinges on cabinets.

Nice hinges but oil rubbed bronze looks black

These are good hinges, and easy to install. I appreciate that they're adjustable. The oil rubbed bronze looks more like painted black. It's solid brass, but just looks plain black. I was going for something to match the arts and crafts style ring pulls I ordered, and these aren't a good match.

Solid brass quality I was looking for.

Needed new hinges for a treasure chest I made years ago. The originals were cheap big box store variety that of course fell apart. These are solid quality that will last generations.
