Mount them vertically on cabinet doors or horizontally on drawers.

Hardware Tip
Center-to-center is the measurement from the center of one screw hole to the center of the other screw hole. Also referred to as the on center measurement or C-C.

Good, solid handle

I'm restoring my grandmother's house which was built in 1942 or '43. I got an item that would have been identical to what she had, only better quality. This was a heavy, solid handle. Not cheaply made. I've bought over 100 of these and I'm happy with them all and the service I get from HoAH. They are pricey but definitely worth the money. The cabinets and drawers will fall apart before the handles do.
