Ornate Cast Iron Screen Door Latch Set
Description
This set is designed to be mounted on the inside of wood screen doors which open outward, 1 3/8" - 1 3/4" in thickness. For thinner doors, simply trim the spindle to the desired length.
Dimensions: Exterior backplate - 2 1/4" H x 1 1/4" W. Interior lock body - 2 1/4" H x 3 9/16" W. Backset: 2 3/4". Levers - 2 1/2" L x 3 3/8" Projection including lock body.

Beautiful door latch

Bought this for a wooden screen door. We have little children so I need something to keep it closed and latched to keep them from going in and out on their own. This latch is beautiful but unfortunately was too large for our door so I had to return it. I wish I had another use for it because it cost $15 to send it back or else it would have been 5 stars.

This is a lovely piece with very good motion. Unfortunately it turned out to be unsuitable for my intended use. I shall put it away and hope to use it elsewhere some day.
Nice looking but cheap quality

It's a nice looking piece but has a loose fit and the brass slide stop broke in half in less than a year. Actually going to buy a second one because I can't find this style anywhere else, but I'm find a machinist to make the brass piece out of steel.

This is a great replacement latch for older wooden screen/storm doors. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is because it was not made in the US.
