Beautiful floor lamps

Disappointing black smear marks

Nice looking lamp but this is the second standing lamp made by House of Troy I've bought this year that has ugly black smear marks on the brass. I won't be ordering any more lamps from the company and it's a shame as they're very well made but there's something wrong at the end inspection. I'll try to get this stuff off if it can come off or I'll be hiding it in a corner so no one can see the ugly marks. I'd return it but it's too much of a bother.
