Description
The louver is a steel housing with pivoting fins, which increases or decreases air flow through the floor register. The louver is controlled by lever adjustment and can be easily removed if no air flow control is needed.
Boot Size refers to the cut-out in the floor that the register fits into. Register Size refers to the outside measurement of the register face plate. To ensure a proper fit, always order registers based on the boot size.

I bought this for my house as an upgrade. Turns out, it isn't made very well. It is coated in this plastic that eventually comes off. Looks faded and tarnished now. Will not purchase these for the rest of my registers.
Well made, perfect replacement

I ordered 2 floor vents to replace old cheap ones. My house was built in 1906 with Craftsman style influences. Some original cast iron vents from coal heating days are still in the house, though not used. These 2 new vents match the styling of the old vents except they are not flush with the floor. The installation couldn't have been easier- lift out old ones and drop in these!
