We are putting this on our mailbox as extra support . This is so beautiful! So well made. Heavy metal for sure. I can't wait to put it on our mailbox. It will be so pretty!

We bought two of the large cast iron brackets with the vine pattern. We were very excited when we opened the box they came in because they were super sturdy and they were even nicer then the online pictures. My husband attached them to the wall in our spare bedroom and put a acacia wood desk top on it that was 50 long by 25 (from Lowe's) and it created a wonderful desk for me that fits in a small bedroom. Our home is over 120 years old, so nothing is where you would expect, construction- wise. We had to move the pot rack during a kitchen remodel and couldn't find ceiling studs where we wanted to put the rack, so it had to go on the wall. The bracket had to support at least 100 pounds (I love to cook and have lots of pots and utensils. These brackets were perfect and their design fits well in my kitchen.

NOT USED AS SHELF BRACKETS. We have a 1964 ""French"" ranch. Long shutters etc....but rather plain. Purchased 3 of the EXTRA large brackets to decorate corners of brick walls to give more ornate ""French"" style to home exterior. They look perfect. These are well made heavy items!! Not flimsy. My ex-husband worked in a foundry. These are good stuff!

Works perfectly to hang a swag light when I couldn't use the ceiling.
