Description

Our Sentinel keyhole is a fun and unique way to add the finishing touch to your desk, amoire, or cabinet. Cast in solid pewter for precise detail, it comes in your choice of three luxurious, hand-applied finishes including a silvery antique pewter, rich dark brass, or glowing antique brass. Handcrafted in the USA.

Dimensions: 2 1/2" H x 1 3/4" W. Thickness: approx' 1/4". Surface mounted with two 1/2" wood screws.

Hardware Tip

Cast: Process where molten brass, iron or other metals are poured and formed in molds often made of sand. The products made in this manner are often thick and heavy.

I love these! I am putting them on my original 150 old pantry cabinets. Wish the company also made a high quality mock key to go with them in pewter. I am so pleased with these! I love to look at them.

I thought the casting was absolutely perfect on this large escutcheon; very sharp and crisp detail. It was a stunning period addition to the chest I was restoring and I think, a selling point. I will definitly buy more of these. I believe I can paint and gild this item as well for even greater effect.

Makes me smile every time I turn the key

I was a bit nervous about ordering this item-- it looked great online, but was apprehensive about what actual item would look like. I purchased in the Antique Brass and could not have been more pleased. It also arrived much quicker than I anticipated.

Very dramatic piece of hardware!

The casting was absolutely perfect on this large escutcheon. I love the original finish but I found I could even paint and gild the piece for greater effect. I will definitely buy more of these dramatic escutcheons.I'm convinced it is the extra touch that will sell my piece of furniture.
