Adds a touch of authentic detail!
Comments:
Used to replace existing plates on all doors in a house built in 1880 that we are restoring. They add a nice detail and look original and authentic. Only downside was the screws that it comes with to install them, they were very cheap and unusable, but I just went to my local hardware store and picked up replacements with a Phillips head and voila! They look absolutely perfect!
Beautiful piece. Liked it so much I bought another.
Comments:
Used it to update make peephole appear more grand and rustic on a wooden door I restored.
Better than I expected

These little additions to the house brings it back to the 1870's, thanks for all your information in restoration to the period.

Excellent reproduction and perfect for my project

This item was used in an art project that required a vintage rosette
Great looking rosette
Comments:
We used these rosettes with large glass cabinet knobs in our laundry remodel. They contrast nicely with the knobs creating a genuine antique look.
I have been needing these pieces for years - just right
Comments:
I used them as intended. Two were missing on my 1884 house.
Nice rosette, but don't plan on using included screws.
Comments:
These rosettes are exactly what I need. I want to use my antique glass doorknobs as dummy knobs on French doors, and these rosettes will work perfectly against the door to cover the drilled hole. However, don't plan on using the screws that came with the rosettes. The screws are very tiny and hard to handle, and some of the screws I received don't have ANY slot in the head at all...they are smooth like a nailhead, so impossible to screw in. Even the ones that are slotted have a straight, very shallow slot. I found these screws impossible to use and ended up making a trip to the hardware store to buy my own.
Quite lovely.
Comments:
These are very nice and match the security bars we're installing on a vintage front door very nicely. They will be backed by a brass ""wrap around"" that is covering previous door/lock installations.
Studding hardware

My original ones were so full of paint, these are perfect
