Question: How are butt hinges measured? Answer: The height is just of the leaf not including the finials and the width is the total open width of both leaves and the knuckle.

basic but the best

We needed a hinge with a removable pin so that we could install a hinge pin door stop. Neither the big box stores nor the local [@] and [@] stores carried hinges with removable pins. Not only did we get exactly the hinge we needed with House of Antique Hardware, but the quality of the hinge was far above that of the similar looking hinge at the other stores.
Perfect hinges. Plan to buy 20 more.
