I had two of these hanging lights installed in a small antique bathroom to replace a pair of a similar size and length that had deteriorated. And that were always inferior to these in every respect. I'd looked for a ridiculously long time with no luck for lights for that location. When I finally saw these, I knew at once that they would look perfect there. And so they do! My one small cavil is that the rims of metal around the bottom edges of the glass shades is thin and trivial material, and really not held in place by anything more than gravity. But when those rims are in place, the insubstantiality of the metal is unnoticeable and that rim completes the visual design superbly. The overall appearance of these lights is exceptional. The proportions are great, the shape of the glass shades feels subtly satisfying, and design touches like the horizontal bars with rounded ends from which the shades are directly suspended is terrific in providing balance and visual focus. And the bottom metal rim, lightweight as it is, finishes them off perfectly. That rim is simply essential to their symmetry and visual strength. Finding tasteful lighting fixtures of any type now is nearly impossible. So I'm delighted that the unique look of these is so successful!
