I ordered one of these privacy knob sets for my 1926 craftsman to see how original it looked and it is beautiful! It operates so smoothly and matches an original set I have in the house-loved it so much I just ordered 5 more...can't go wrong here and even though the price may seem high it's right in line with every other site that sells a similar product.
Pretty door knobs

After renovating our bathroom a couple of years ago, I realized that I needed a new door knob that gave me an antique feel. The lower level of our house was built in 1939 and had the original doors and ceramic door knobs. Unfortunately, the bathroom was missing the original door knob after searching and not finding something similar I decided to look for glass antique knobs. I found the matching finish here at House of Antique Hardware and thought they were so pretty. Because they were on the pricey side, I slowly replaced all the door knobs on the doors in my downstairs to match the bathroom knob.

As our budget allows we are replacing all door knobs with glass knobs and new rosettes in our small beach cottage. I bought the round glass door knob for a linen closet door and I like it so much I am thinking of doing all the closets with this set(satin traditional rosettes). This is our 5th purchase and 3rd different set. Happy we are with them all!
Wouldn't buy again.

Knob is too small for face plate. Finish was scratched off in some spots when we received the knobs. Returned them.
